Most coasters live in a drawer and are never there when the cup arrives. The Grove stands on the table. Each coaster lifts from the branches, does its work, and returns. What is left between uses is not storage, it is a small tree. Wood, in two finishes, warm in the hand and quiet on the surface it protects.
Why it's here
We chose The Grove because it solves the oldest problem with coasters: they disappear. This one can't. Putting it away is the object. It earns its place twice, under the cup and in the hours in between.
Design notes
The coasters rest on a central stem and find their own order. Choose Morning, pale as early light, or Evening, deep as the end of it.
